April Report

Fishing has been phenomenal this month! April is a great month to fish in Jensen/ Stuart, FL. Lots of Snook, Trout, Reds, Jacks, Snapper, Grouper, and Pompano! So far it has been consistently windy, but fishing in the lee has been very comfortable and productive when fishing too. Trouts, reds, and lots of snook have been biting excellent on the flats with numbers up to 30 fish per trip!! Live pilchards, mullet, and shrimp have been your best bet when targeting theses species. But, they are also prone to strike the DOA cal, mirrorlure, topwater, and small divers! These live-baits/ artificials are working excellent on the flats in-between 2-5' depths. Pictured above is a new client Douglas with his first Pompano on a Rapala Top-water he caught in less than 3 feet of water, and it was a great catch too!
